Local teens work hard during the summer to sustainably grow vegetables, fruits, and herbs for the community. Meet the students, tour the farm, and enjoy the produce they grow. Wednesday markets will be held in the parking lot of the Greenbelt Cultural Center on Wednesday, July 9-Oct. 8 from 9 - 1 p.m. Saturday markets will be located across the street from the Cultural Center in the Greenbelt Forest Preserve on Saturday, August 23-Oct. 11 from 9 - 1 p.m. LINK/SNAP (food stamps), WIC/Senior Farmers' Market Nutrition Program coupons, credit/debit, and cash are accepted. If you use your LINK card, the market will match your purchase up to $15/market day.

Over 20 vendors featuring locally grown fresh produce, baked goods, fresh meat and eggs, seafood, salsas, sauces, oils, cheese, and fresh honey will be featured as well as concessions such as Culver’s frozen custard, freshly made mini donuts, Kettle corn, Domino’s Pizza, and Mexican fare from Pupusita Express. There will also be Budding Farmers educational program. The Market is conveniently located at Paulus Park, just north of the intersection of Routes 12 and 22 in Lake Zurich. Parking is steps away in the adjacent parking lot, with ample overflow parking directly across the street. Admission to Paulus Park is free and open to the public.

Wadsworth Farmer's Market (WFM) is held on Fridays from 2-7 p.m. from July 11th through October 3rd, 2014. It is located on The Green by the Old Village School House (also called Wadsworth Park) near the high traffic intersection of Wadsworth and Delany Roads in Wadsworth, Illinois. Amenities include a children's playground, a covered picnic shelter, limited electricity, lots of parking and four port-a-potties. The Wadsworth Farmers Market is a producer/grower market.

The Village of Antioch Farmers Market brings together local and regional vendors to create a quality based market for the residents in and around community. At the corner of Main St (Route 83) and Depot St every Thursday at 3 p.m. starting in June the market is open for all to buy everything from produce to flowers. The market is open till 7 p.m. and runs till mid-October each year. From mid June till mid August the market runs right up to the beginning of the "It's Thursday" Concert Series at 7:30 p.m. each week.
