The Alton Farmers' & Artisans' Market has a new location for the 2012 season - in the parking lot at the corner of 9th St. & Piasa St. (US Hwy 67). We have also added a second day - every Saturday from 8am-Noon, and now Wednesday from 4-7pm - starting June 2nd through October 13th.
You will find an abundance of delicious fresh produce, crafts, baked goods, plants & flowers, locally-raised hormone-free meat, handmade soaps, jewelry, artwork, pottery, art demonstrations, & more. Have breakfast at the market – coffee & breakfast items are available. Admission is free for shoppers - plenty of parking! Vendors wanted – anything homegrown or at least 50% handmade is welcome.

The Andersonville Farmers Market is a joyful gathering space that provides a delicious array of local foods. Our vendors offer a wide variety of locally-sourced goods, including a bountiful assortment of produce; free range meat, poultry and eggs; cheese, fresh baked goods; herbal vinegars; salsa and artisanal jams; and much more. All are made with sustainable and locally-sourced ingredients whenever possible. The market is located in the heart of Andersonville, a vibrant north side neighborhood that has received national attention for its unique blend of locally-owned, one of a kind shops and world class restaurants.
