Thank you for your interest in the Illinois State Fair! It is our pleasure to invite you to participate at the 2012 Illinois State Fair to be held August 9 - 19, 2012.
Please complete the enclosed two-page application and return it to the Space Rental Office at your earliest convenience. NOTE: There are two (2) applications-one for INSIDE locations and one for OUTSIDE locations. A color photo or detailed drawing MUST be submitted with your application. If photo or drawing is not included, the application will not be considered.
Generally, we receive more applications than we physically have space to accommodate. Management reviews all applicants taking into consideration size, type of product or services, attractiveness of booth or trailer, revenue potential to the Department, stand design, structure, sanitation requirements and physical constraints.
Please DO NOT send a deposit with your application. This is only an application; it does not guarantee a space will be offered. If a contract is awarded, payment and Certificate of Insurance will be due by designated deadline prior to the Fair.

Direct Sales - Outside - Cost for returning outside vendors paying the flat partial fee will remain the same.
Permanent Structured Building (Special Agreement/Ethnic Village) - Cost for returning vendor will remain the same.
New Outside Vendors - Cost will be based upon the average space rental payment of the current concessionaires in the general location plus $30.00 per front foot.

Please note: All vendors / exhibitors are required to supply all of their own electrical material (power cords, power strips, etc.) to the power source. Wire needs to be rubber cord. Outside vendors / exhibitors may not connect or disconnect themselves.
INSURANCE
Public liability insurance is required of ALL vendors and exhibitors. Public liability insurance insuring vendor / exhibitor in the minimum amounts of $250,000.00 per person, $500,000.00 per occurrence, and $50,000.00 property damage against claims arising out of or in connection with the vendors/exhibits/rentals which are the subject of the Agreement. Vendor / exhibitor shall supply said public liability insurance policy in a form of a Certificate of Insurance or other form satisfactory to the Department on or before July 1. In addition, vendor / exhibitor should have Worker's Compensation Insurance in the amount required by law.
