In a salute to all Illinois servicemen and women, Sergeant Jerald K. Leech of Arthur was named Grand Marshal for the 2006 Illinois State Fair Twilight Parade.

NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL FINALS RODEO MOVES ONTO ILLINOIS STATE FAIRGROUNDS
Trade Show opens in Orr Building July 22; Rodeo events kick off with opening ceremonies and country concert July 23
Opening ceremonies will be held Sunday evening, July 23 in the Grandstand at 5:15 followed by a musical performance featuring country star Jason Aldean with local group City Limits opening the show at 7:00 p.m. Rodeo events begin at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, July 24 and go through 1:00 p.m. Sunday July 30.

ILLINOIS STATE FAIR MEGA PASS SPECIAL PRICES TO END SATURDAY
Saturday, July 15 is the last day to purchase the Illinois State Fair 2006 Mega Pass at a reduced price of $50. On Monday, July 17, the price goes back to the regular price of $60.
