TWILIGHT PARADE Each year, the Illinois State Fair Twilight Parade marches proudly through Springfield, announcing the ten day annual showcase of Illinois Agriculture and unique entertainment. This year's parade begins on August 8th at 6:00 p.m. This year's theme is "WHERE ILLINOIS COMES TOGETHER". Deadline to submit an application to participate in this year's parade is July 12, 2013.

Golf car usage for the 2013 IL State Fair will be greatly reduced with limited access for EVERYONE. Due to liability and safety issues, ONLY golf cars rented exclusively through the ISF will be allowed on grounds. No personal or business golf cars will be allowed on the Fairgrounds beginning August 1st through the conclusion of the Fair. Unauthorized golf cars will be towed at owner’s expense.

A limited number of golf car rentals will be available to vendors, concessionaires and exhibitors through the ISF Credential’s Office, with Rental Forms available beginning June 17th. Golf Cars CAN NOT be rented by the general public.

Starting at 10 am EVERY DAY, there will be no golf cars allowed on the interior of the fairgrounds (except emergency vehicles). TRAM SERVICE IS AVAILABLE THROUGHOUT THE FAIRGROUNDS!

2013 PREMIUM BOOKS AND ENTRY FORMS ARE AVAILABLE These books can be download or viewed on-line. Forms should be saved, filled-in on-line, printed and mailed to their specified destinations.

Summer Employment Application
The Department of Agriculture is now accepting applications for qualified individuals who are interested in summer employment. Please download a copy of the summer application form.
